Our team at Bath Expo recently completed double bathroom installations in Avon, OH for our client Karen. Her home in the Highland Park area of Avon, OH, received a complete transformation with two of our wet-space upgrades.
The first part of the project focused on installing a 60 x 32 Trimslate walk-in shower in a Cameo finish. This system features Sentrel Mocha Travertine wall surrounds, which provide a smooth, warm stone pattern that instantly updated the space. We paired these walls with Moen Engage 26010 fixtures and CIA trim to create a polished look. To ensure comfort and safety, we added matching Sentrel corner shelves, an AquaGrip seat in a putty/beige finish, and both 18-inch and 24-inch grab bars. We also installed a temporary tension rod so the shower is fully functional while Karen waits for her custom Bradley & Ethan shower door.
Her second shower—installed in a separate bathroom—features a 48 x 36 Trimslate base and Sentrel Calabria walls for a distinct style. This finished space includes a brushed stainless drain cover, a permanent Bradley & Ethan glass door, dual grab bars, and a white AquaGrip seat. Both renovations successfully blend modern luxury with the functional accessibility she needed.
For Karen Hill, updating her bathrooms was more than a home improvement—it was an act of love for her husband during his final months in hospice care. Living in the Highland Park community of Avon, Karen wanted a safe, accessible wet space that would allow him to shower comfortably and without fear of falling.

Although a little dust remained in the garage where the crew worked, she emphasized that the indoors was spotless, and Nick even disposed of broken glass and extra trash to help lighten her load during a difficult time.
Her husband was able to use the new shower once before he passed—and he loved it. It gave him dignity, comfort, and relief during a vulnerable moment. Karen shared that knowing he felt safe and happy in that space means everything to her. Today, she feels the remodel added lasting value to her home and still brings comfort when she sees it.
